A highly interactive workshop that educates you, church leaders, church congregations, community leaders, and the general public on the dynamics of domestic abuse and challenges them to take action to those in need*.

  • To gain an understanding of the meaning and characteristics of domestic abuse.
  • To erase commonly held myths and misconceptions of what defines an abusive relationship.
  • Understand the healing process from abuse.
  • Provide practical steps for safely leaving abusive relationships.
  • Understand the role of the church and/or community in caring for individuals broken from domestic abuse.

Workshops can be customized by combining the various modules to create 1, 2, or 3 hour workshops to fit most organizational needs.

Tearing Down The Walls- Citywide is a readiness program designed to equip churches and community organizations to work with families in domestic abuse. This program is designed for those seeking to play an extremely active role in the elimination of domestic abuse within their community. The components of the program are designed to:

  1. Educate participants on the dynamics of domestic abuse.
  2. Create short and long range goals to effectively address domestic abuse within the organization and throughout the community.
  3. Develop collaborative relationships with domestic violence prevention organizations and resources within the community.
  4. Provide interventions for all members in the family unit: men, women, and children.

We work closely with the church or organization leaders to develop a customize program which utilizes a series of highly interactive workshops, educational pieces, training seminars, and planning sessions. (Available in a non-biblically based version)

 

LOVE ALL THAT AND MORE

A Video Series and 6-Session Curriculum on Healthy Relationship.

A highly interactive program for church leaders, youth groups, college aged young adults, high schools, and community organizations**.

  • Inform middle and high school aged youth and college aged young adults about what makes healthy relationships.
  • Motivates viewers to seek relationships based on equality and mutual respect.
  • Increase understanding and awareness about abuse.
  • Increases viewers' self-awareness in their relationship behaviors.

All 6, or specific modules can be utilized to create a customize workshop depending on available time.

** Christian based materials will be used in workshops conducted for churches and faith-based organization.
