Carla Campbell is the Founder/President of House of Refuge Ministries, Inc., which seeks to share the love of Jesus Christ to families broken by abuse. In 1994 the Lord began to place in her heart a passionate desire to minister to women broken by abuse. Carla realizes the vital need for spiritual healing in order to bring about complete restoration from the mental and emotional scars of abuse. Her God-given vision of deliverance and healing extends not only to women, but to men and children broken by various types of abuse. She believes all those broken by abuse of any kind can walk in the joy and peace of complete healing brought about by the love of Jesus Christ. It is her life mission to see families healed and restored by the love of Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit.

She is a preacher and teacher at various retreats, revivals, and conferences, as well as conducts church and community workshops on abuse, youth/young adult healthy relationships, and women positive self-image. Additionally, Carla serves as Chaplain to the St. Charles City Police Department where she ministers to the spiritual needs of the officers and staff. She holds certifications as a Critical Incidence Stress Management Debriefer and as a Basic Law Enforcement Chaplain. Carla was licensed to preach the gospel in August of 1999 and ordained in September 2002.

She is a native of Missouri and has earned a BS undergraduate; an MBA graduate level degree, as well as a Masters in Theological Studies at the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary.
